2004 ~ 2005 Calendar of Events
September 15, 2004 - New member welcoming
party downtown at Hilton Suites Phoenix from 6:00 to 8:00pm (10 East Thomas Road, northeast corner
of Thomas and Central, next to QWest). Come join us for an evening of cocktails and networking. October 20, 2004 - Hors d'oeuvres and
networking will be followed by a presentation from Dr. Stephen Happel, Professor of Economics at
Arizona State University. Dr. Happel will be discussing the Bush and Kerry economic programs. Join
us at the University Club from 6:00 to 8:00pm (39 East Monte Vista, across from the Heard Museum). November 17, 2004 - Enjoy a relaxed
post-election evening of networking and socializing in the West Valley at the Sheraton Crescent
hotel (2620 West Dunlap Road, on the east side of I-17 and Dunlap Road). We'll be meeting from 6:00
to 8:00pm. February 16, 2005 - Downtown hosts networking
and cocktails from 6:00 to 8:00pm. We'll be at the Hilton Suites Phoenix again (10 East Thomas Road,
northeast corner of Thomas and Central, next to QWest). March 16, 2005 - Another evening of hors
d'oeuvres and networking at the University Club from 6:00 to 8:00pm (39 East Monte Vista, across
from the Heard Museum). This month’s featured speaker is John Treadwell, an identity theft specialist
with Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. April 20, 2005 - Join us for an evening of
cocktails and networking in the East Valley. We're meeting at the Tempe Mission Palms hotel from
6:00 to 8:00pm (60 East 5th Street, across from the Tempe town hall pyramid). May 18, 2005 - Welcome new members from
Phoenix's world-class universities! Spend an evening enjoying hors d'oeuvres, networking, and a
presentation from our featured guest speaker, Grace Lau, president of PacWest Financial Management
Inc. This event will be held at the University Club from 6:00 to 8:00 pm (39 East Monte Vista, across
from the Heard Museum). This is also your opportunity to impact the strategy and direction of your
Phoenix Alumni Chapter. Our annual elections to the Board of Directors will be in conjunction with
